McDonnell International Scholars Academy students visit New York, meet leaders

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met with WUSTL’s McDonnell Academy scholars earlier this month. During a spring break trip to New York, the scholars also met a former Federal Reserve chairman and other leaders in media, politics and finance.

New clues found to preventing lung transplant rejection

Study finds parental support for flu shots in schools

Half of parents in the U.S. would consent to have their children receive the flu vaccine in school, according to a survey from the Brown School, led by Derek S. Brown, PhD. It is among the first to provide national data on parent preferences on school-administered flu shots.

Cindy Kahn, in the Performing Arts Department, suggests the St. Louis Actors’ Studio presentation of Kate Chopin’s “The Awakening.” And Katharine Jaruzelski, of Student Life, says indie-pop band The Mowgli’s offer a fun show.
